THE DEFINITION

Walking towards me, my heart is beating fast
But I’m cemented to the ground in this vivid dusk
His pace increasing rapidly & there I stood
I can’t move, I can’t even budge, but I feel good

Every glance, each & every part of my body tingles
No words, just a simple smile makes me giggle
Each smile he throws, my heart literally drops
His effortless praise makes my eyes pop

Your undemanding touch, freezes me
You wrap your fingers with mine, locked with a key
We move forward together step by step
I can see your light, I’m looking ahead

Your strong embrace, builds up my strength
Destroying all the barrier, all the fence
Opening up my heart bit by bit
I’m enhanced, all of a sudden my face just lit

You standing there, doing nothing, however I feel safe
I feel like a baby, really small & in daze
My hearts not pounding anymore, I am calm
Coz I know you’ll take care of me, you don’t mean any harm

I can’t get the right words; I don’t really know how to explain
Maybe words are not enough, words are vain
It’s the instinct I guess, it’s just the intuition
This is all that I could say, this is my definition
